Traditional sweet sherry blending type, a mix of dry wines such as Amontillado and Oloroso with sweet wines muscat type and/ or Pedro Ximenez.
This wine, which undergoes oxidative aging, is made of the Palomino, Muscat and Pedro Ximénez varieties and aged approximately 5 years through the process of “Soleras and Criaderas” in American oak casks. It is slightly sweet with an ABV of 18.5%. Available in 37.5 and 75 cl bottles.
With a crystal brilliant amber color, it displays a very intense nose, with hints of caramel and nuts. In the mouth, it is slightly sweet, well-balanced and full-bodied.
It is a great aperitif wine, but recently it has become very popular as accompaniment for the most exotic cuisines, especially very spicy cuisines like Indian or Thai.
