Gama Zuleta, Vinos Dulces
It is a blend between house young Amontillados and Olorosos wines and those from dried grapes, such as Pedro Ximenez and Muscat, although containing Muscat in a larger than average proportion in Medium.
This wine, which undergoes oxidative aging, is made of the Palomino, Muscat and Pedro Ximénez varieties. It is aged approximately 5 years through the process of "Soleras and Criaderas" in American oak casks. It is sweet and its alcohol content is 17.5%. Available in 37.5 and 75 cl bottles.
With a mahogany color, it shows intense and very complex aromas, with hints of dried grapes (raisins, dried figs, dried apricots), hardwood and caramel. It is very soft and sweet, balanced, long and lingering in the mouth. Perfect to enjoy as an aperitif or dessert.
It is an essential wine at home, because it goes perfectly as an aperitif and/or dessert and as accompaniment of fruit, cheese or foie. This wine serves to make the fashionable drink: cream, ice and a slice of orange.
